The Education Board Statistics (EBS) platform collects only the data necessary to fulfil its function as an education data management system. This includes:

• User account information (name, username, email address, role, and assigned jurisdiction)
• School and institutional profile data
• Staff records, pupil enrolment figures, and infrastructure statistics
• System usage logs for security and audit purposes

2. How We Use Your Data

All data collected within EBS is used exclusively for:

• Authenticating users and controlling role‑based access
• Generating aggregated statistical reports for education planning
• Monitoring data submission compliance
• System maintenance and security

3. Data Sharing

EBS does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may be shared with authorised government bodies for planning purposes. Individual staff or pupil records are never disclosed outside the authorised administrative hierarchy.

4. Data Security

We employ industry‑standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, CSRF protection, and role‑based access controls. Access logs are maintained and reviewed periodically.

5. Data Retention

User accounts and associated data are retained for as long as the account is active. Historical statistical data is retained indefinitely for longitudinal analysis. Upon account deactivation, personal identifiers may be anonymised.

6. Your Rights

Users may request a copy of their personal data or request correction of inaccurate information by contacting their system administrator. Account deletion requests are handled in accordance with the data retention policy.
